Principal's Message
If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the teacher …… APJ Abdul Kalam
Mankind is moving towards a phase of value system deterioration and fanaticisms. Corruption, religious intolerance, political power struggle, and fading of ethical and moral elements have placed the society on the verge of a total breakdown. It is at the precipice that we evolve. It is the right time to make decisions that will lay the foundation of a harmonious and stable society. As Sir A.P.J Abdul Kalam says, the onus of this Exodus from the perils of societal disintegration to the pastures of stability lies with the parents and the educators.
Value systems are getting emulsified in the cauldron of social media and technological advances like the internet and cell phones. The harsh reality is that the tentacles of misused technology are fast spreading into the schools and crushing down the strong principles and sets of values, educational institutions stand for. Under such circumstances, it is very important to lay down basic principles for the children so that they may lead a brightened life, no matter how hard the stepping stones of success hit them. The need of the day is to shape individuals who can withstand the tantalizations of the modern day and who can conceive their own value systems and life philosophies.
We at St. Alphonsa Yadrav are ready for an evolution and all our efforts are directed towards changing memorizers to thinkers, followers to leaders and conventional problem solvers to innovative solution seekers. As I walk down the corridors every day, I come across minds where there are no fears or doubts, smiles which are unadulterated with the grin of vengeance, words that hold everyone with the highest regard, hands that hold the stumbling and legs that walk towards the goal. I am rest assured that the future is in good hands.
